Choosing Colours

Below are a few web links which let you look at colours for your home and give you much inspiration.

You will likely find many more with a web search.

Keep in mind that small colour chips do not give you the full picture: when paint is applied to a room, the large expanse makes the colour to appear darker than the original chip (we can't help this -- it's the way the eye works!).  So always consider choosing a slight lighter shade than what may look good on the colour chip.

Another factor enters the picture when looking at colours on the web: your computer monitor, unless it is a high-end fully calibrated graphics monitor, will likely not reproduce colours exactly as they are.  Although the computer is a good guide to get started, nothing beats getting the actual colour chips in your hands.

We bring a wide array of colour chips when we visit you for an estimate.

If you have the time or the desire, buy a pint or so of the colour you think you wish to use and apply it to a larger area in the room.  Evaluate your colour choice after it dries -- the final colour is WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get!)!
